We were in the middle of an unprepared mass. Adaptation wouldn’t be as easy as snapping fingers. The trauma in businesses and lives could not be undone with a single tap. All the same, we needed to find a way to communicate to the community that even in the middle of this, we could still make the most out of the pandemic if we did what had to be done.
Communication had to be a process, all slow, easy, and progressive.
In ensuring our societies and our people stay safe in the middle of global upheaval, we saw a critical role education and awareness would play to securely brace our goal. Corona was not a one-man fight. It was ours and unless we came together for a fight, we could hardly endure the bending. We would break.
Our goal was simple. To communicate that no one would be left behind during the challenging times we were all passing through, no matter the rejection of the worst odds.
We worked concurrently with businesses, NGOs, and the Government under the Ministry of Health and community development to ensure the message reached our target the way we wanted it. we also made sure we had all the needed support to deliver the message accordingly.
Though it could look out of the ordinary to take advantage of the pandemic, it was a reminder that any business, regardless of its size could still excel at what it was doing and survive the long haul. Sabuni smart was our canvas.
We fashioned a campaign for awareness and a touch of hope that we would get through it together.
